Tips: Business Tips

Large and small businesses alike are benefiting from business storage. Each business has its own set of storage needs. Whether it’s storing office furniture, inventory samples, or marketing supplies – there is a business storage solution for you.

How to Organize Inventory

Many business owners find that using self-storage is a critical component to running a successful business. Not only does self-storage provide extra space for inventory and other supplies, but it also can help improve productivity. Many offices lack the necessary storage space to keep paperwork, samples, excess inventory, supplies and extra office furniture. These items end up stored ineffectively around the office, unorganized and inefficient.

Pharmaceutical Storage Solutions

Self-storage is a well-known business storage option for both large and small businesses and those companies running out of room for document, inventory or equipment storage. Many different types of businesses from construction to retail to pharmaceutical representatives use self-storage to store products, paper files or office equipment. For the medical or pharmaceutical representative, self-storage is a great option for storing pharmaceutical samples and marketing material to keep the pharmaceutical sales representative’s car or office clutter free. More importantly, choosing a self-storage location central to a sales rep’s territory allows for easy access to products and documents they use everyday.

What Documents Should Be Placed in Archival Storage

Business files and documents can take up a large amount of valuable space in an office. In today’s electronic world, you wouldn’t think that keeping and storing paper documents would be needed, but that is not the case! There are many electronic storage options for business documents, but it is still required by federal and state laws to keep paper for an allotted period or length of time. These documents could clutter up the filing cabinets, storage closets, and desktops over time in an office. Renting a self storage unit is a great business storage solution for companies that are running out of storage room in their offices.

Tips for Restaurant and Catering Storage

If you are a restaurant owner, self-storage can provide a useful place to keep equipment when you aren’t using it, especially in the off season. Whether you own a restaurant or operate a catering business – or both – you may find that you lack the space on site to keep all your supplies. Self-storage is a convenient option that allows you to house your equipment in a safe, clean environment.
