Local Activities | January 19, 2016
January and February are usually slow for retail shops and restaurants. In order for restaurants to bring in new business during the slower winter months, cities across the country offer restaurant weeks. These special events, lasting anywhere from a week to two weeks, allow diners to eat at restaurants they always wanted to try, but didn’t think they could afford. The Baltimore and Washington DC areas have a wide range of casual to five star restaurants that can satisfy any taste. During restaurant weeks, customers have a chance to taste some of the great seafood the Baltimore area is known for or the many culinary delights that are a part of Washington D.C. living. Reservations are recommended as the tables fill up quickly. Also, a good tip is to read the specials in advance, so you know your options.
