Every fall, students of all ages prepare to head back to school. Catholic University of America is a private university located in the Brookland neighborhood of Washington DC. The school was founded in 1887 as a graduate and research center after approval by Pope Leo XIII. It is the only institution of higher learning founded by United States Catholic bishops. The school’s academic programs focus on liberal arts, professional education and personal development. Catholic University of America is split into 12 schools and 21 research centers and facilities. Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law, was founded in 1954. There is also a Theological Seminary on campus. This year, Catholic University of America began a partnership with the Australian Catholic University to effectively own and operate a second campus in Rome, Italy. Currently, the school has nearly 7,000 undergraduate and graduate students and an academic staff of over 800.
The campus of Catholic University of America is located 3 miles north of the United States Capital Building. It is in the Brookland neighborhood, also known as “Little Rome” with over 60 Catholic institutions in the immediate area. The university sits on the largest amount of land for any university in Washington DC. The 193 acre campus is tree lined with 55 buildings representing the Romanesque and modern architecture design. The university has been expanding the campus by developing new building projects starting with Opus Hall, the first co-ed dormitory on campus in 2009. There is also residential housing in Centennial Village and for older students, apartments in the Monroe Street Market area. The majority of undergraduates, 76%, live on campus in several residence halls and apartment complexes.

Will hold contents of a 4 to 5 bedroom house with major appliances and room for boxes. Business storage for files, equipment and permanent records.
